How is this different from a regular wine stopper?
Standard stoppers slow oxidation slightly but can't stop it. Your wine is still exposed to oxygen every time you open and reseal. Coravin systems use 100% pure argon gas to protect the wine from oxygen entirely. With a Timeless system, the bottle is never even opened, so the wine stays in its original sealed state.
Does it work with all wines?
Timeless systems work with any still wine sealed with a natural cork. The Pivot+ works with any still wine regardless of closure type.

What are the argon capsules and how long do they last?
Coravin Pure Argon Capsules contain food-grade, 100% pure argon gas. Each capsule provides enough gas for approximately 15 five-ounce glasses. They come included with every system and refills are available on the Coravin website.
